At North Point Christian Church, we pray that when we come together to worship, you will experience relevant Biblical teaching, dynamic musical worship, and life-transforming ministries for people of all ages. North Point Christian Church has always been a place where people from every walk of life come together and experience life in an authentic way. We think that if you take the time to get to know us you will see that we are a group of people who just want to live a life that has been modeled to us by Jesus Christ. We want this walk with Christ to be as genuine and authentic as possible.

We encourage you to join us on this journey of discovery and transformation of Reaching Up to God, Reaching Out to others, and Reaching In to the body of Christ. We pray that you will find our congregation’s character to be one of Love, Acceptance, and Forgiveness…three of the greatest characteristics of our Lord and Savior. A church of faith, a church of hope, and a church of challenge is what best describes North Point Christian Church. We hope you will join us soon and discover that faith and hope for yourself.

WHAT WE BELIEVE:

God
We believe that God is the creator, ruler, and redeemer of mankind. The Bible teaches the concept of the “trinity” and that there is one sovereign God eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead. Trusting Him as Savior brings forgiveness and the promise and hope of eternal life. Those trusting in Him should confess their faith, repent of sin, and be baptized by immersion. He will one day return to claim His people and will reign forever.
Matthew 1:22, 23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5, 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14, 15; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4; Romans 1:3, 4

The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God’s gift to all Christians. His transforming influence brings new life and He is our guide and comforter. He empowers believers to fulfill God’s vision and purpose for their lives.
2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13, 14:16,17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25

Humans
We believe the Bible teaches that humans, created by God, willfully sin against God and are consequently lost and without hope apart from a restored relationship with God and that such salvation (involving the forgiveness of sins) is achieved only by grace through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ.
Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1, 2

The Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s revelation and sourcebook for faith and daily living. It is divinely inspired, error-free in its original writings, and the true source for knowing God’s will.
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105, 160, 12:6; Proverbs 30:5

The Church
We believe the church is God’s enterprise for the redemption and benefit of mankind. It is a faith community and consists of all Christians everywhere. We believe that the New Testament provides the pattern for local church practices and organization. We are overseen by a group of local elders that are men of character, integrity, and faith evidenced by their daily walk.
Matthew 16:18; Acts 20:28; Ephesians 1:22

In essentials unity – In nonessentials liberty – In all things love
